Penstemon Pensham 'Amelia Jane'
Penstemon Pensham 'Amelia Jane' is a vibrant, long-flowering perennial producing elegant spires of striking cerise tubular flowers with contrasting white throats. Its bold colouring creates an eye-catching display and adds valuable height to summer planting schemes.
Flowering from June to October, 'Amelia Jane' provides months of reliable colour from early summer into autumn. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
Forming an upright, bushy plant, this easy-to-grow variety is ideal for mixed borders, beds and patio containers. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and performs best in fertile, well-drained soil, with regular deadheading encouraging further flowers.
