Pennisetum advena 'Summer Samba' is a bold ornamental grass with arching, burgundy-tinted foliage and soft, bottlebrush flower spikes. Its rich colour intensifies through summer, adding movement and contrast to borders, gravel gardens or containers. The fluffy plumes appear from mid to late summer and persist into autumn. Best treated as a tender perennial in colder regions.
