Parthenocissus striata
Parthenocissus striata is a delicate climbing plant with slender stems and small, ivy-like leaves that are softly veined and often flushed with bronze tones in bright light. Its dainty foliage and twining habit make it a charming choice for adding greenery indoors.
This versatile vine performs well in bright, indirect light and is particularly suited for trailing from shelves or training up small supports. In the home, it adapts well to room conditions and adds an airy, cascading texture to displays. With regular pruning, it maintains a compact, bushy habit, while in ideal conditions it can grow quickly to create a lush backdrop of foliage.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate medium light. Avoid harsh direct sun indoors.
Water: Water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry. Keep soil evenly moist in summer but reduce watering slightly in winter.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining houseplant compost. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Enjoys moderate humidity. Mist occasionally to keep foliage fresh.
Pruning & Propagation: Trim regularly to control growth and encourage bushiness. Propagates easily from stem cuttings.
