Oxalis Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun may scorch leaves, while low light can cause sparse growth.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly before watering again. Reduce watering in winter dormancy.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining potting mix with added perlite or sand. Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a half-strength liquid fertiliser.
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable, but occasional misting helps maintain healthy foliage.
Pruning and propagation: Remove faded flowers and old leaves to encourage new growth. Propagate by dividing bulbs or rhizomes during repotting.
