Nepeta × faassenii 'Kit Cat'
Nepeta × faassenii 'Kit Cat' is a compact, free-flowering perennial forming a neat mound of aromatic, silvery-green foliage. Slender spikes of delicate lavender-blue flowers rise above the leaves from late spring, creating a soft and informal display.
Its tidy, spreading habit makes it ideal for edging paths, filling the front of sunny borders or growing beneath roses and taller shrubs. The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Hardy, drought tolerant and easy to grow, 'Kit Cat' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Trimming the plant after its first flush of flowers encourages fresh foliage and further blooms, extending its colourful display into early autumn.
