Nepeta × faassenii 'Whispurr™ Blue'
Nepeta × faassenii 'Whispurr™ Blue' is a robust, compact perennial producing large plumes of vivid blue flowers above soft grey-green foliage. Its naturally mounding habit creates a relaxed, flowing effect in sunny planting schemes.
Flowering from May to September, 'Whispurr™ Blue' provides a long season of colour and movement. The aromatic foliage releases a pleasant minty fragrance when brushed, while the nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Drought tolerant once established and easy to grow, this reliable variety is ideal for sunny borders, gravel gardens, path edges and wildlife-friendly planting. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, where its compact habit remains neat and floriferous.
