Lythrum salicaria 'Luminara Lilac'
Lythrum salicaria 'Luminara Lilac' is a compact, free-flowering perennial producing rich lilac-pink to purple flower spikes held on striking red stems above vibrant green foliage. Its long-lasting blooms provide a colourful display throughout summer while attracting a wealth of bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
Smaller than many traditional loosestrife varieties, 'Luminara Lilac' is perfect for the front of borders, wildlife gardens and patio containers. It thrives in consistently moist soil and is particularly well suited to bog gardens, pond margins and naturalistic planting schemes.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, this hardy perennial combines compact growth with excellent wildlife value, making it an outstanding choice for gardens where both colour and biodiversity are important.
