Lychnis flos-cuculi 'White Robin' is a beautiful white-flowered form of the native Ragged Robin, producing elegant star-shaped blooms with finely divided petals from early summer through to early autumn. The delicate flowers dance above slender stems, bringing a light, natural feel to borders and wildlife-friendly gardens.
Ideal for informal planting schemes, cottage gardens and meadow-style displays, this easy-to-grow perennial combines beautifully with late-flowering favourites such as Achillea and Perovskia. It performs particularly well in reliably moist soils, where it thrives and returns year after year.
Cutting the plant back after its first flush of flowers encourages fresh growth and a second display later in the season, extending its ornamental value while continuing to attract bees and other pollinators.
