Lonicera × brownii 'Dropmore Scarlet'
Lonicera × brownii 'Dropmore Scarlet' is a vigorous twining honeysuckle producing masses of striking tubular flowers in brilliant shades of orange and scarlet. The vibrant blooms create a spectacular display against the fresh green foliage, bringing bold colour and movement to walls, fences and garden structures throughout the summer.
Flowering from July until October, this reliable climber provides a long-lasting source of nectar for bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. The semi-evergreen foliage also offers valuable shelter and nesting opportunities for birds, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
Hardy, easy to grow and adaptable, 'Dropmore Scarlet' thrives in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. Ideal for training over fences, pergolas, arches and trellis, it quickly creates colourful vertical interest while requiring very little maintenance once established.
