Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates partial shade. Avoid harsh direct sunlight indoors, which may scorch leaves.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist during the growing season but not soggy. Reduce watering in winter, allowing the top layer to dry slightly.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a rich, free-draining palm or houseplant compost. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidifier to prevent brown tips.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove old or yellowing fronds at the base. Propagation is typically from seed and not easy indoors.
