Lamium maculatum 'Orchid Frost'
Lamium maculatum 'Orchid Frost' is a superb ground cover perennial grown for its luminous silver foliage delicately edged with green and its charming orchid-pink flowers. The striking leaves provide year-round interest and help brighten shaded areas of the garden, creating a beautiful carpet beneath shrubs, trees and woodland plantings.
From spring into summer, clusters of soft pink to orchid-purple flowers rise above the foliage, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. Its vigorous spreading habit quickly fills gaps between plants, suppresses weeds and softens the edges of borders, pathways and containers.
Easy to grow and exceptionally low maintenance, this versatile variety thrives in partial to full shade and performs well in most garden soils. It is an excellent choice for bringing colour, texture and brightness to difficult shaded locations.
