Knautia macedonica 'Melton Pastels'
Knautia macedonica 'Melton Pastels' is a long-flowering perennial producing masses of pincushion-like blooms in soft shades of pink and red. Held on strong, wiry stems, the flowers rise above the foliage to create height, lightness and movement within the border.
Flowering from July through to October, this variety is especially valuable late in the season. The nectar-rich flowerheads are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly and cottage-style gardens.
