Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora'
Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora' is a vigorous deciduous shrub producing an abundance of bright golden-yellow, double flowers in spring. The cheerful pompom-like blooms are carried along elegant green stems, creating a bold and uplifting display.
Flowering mainly from April to June, 'Pleniflora' may also produce a second flush of flowers later in summer. Its fresh green, serrated foliage provides an attractive backdrop through the growing season, while the smooth green stems continue to add colour and structure during winter.
Hardy, adaptable and easy to grow, 'Pleniflora' is ideal for mixed borders, informal screening and planting against walls or fences. Its naturally upright, slightly arching habit gives the shrub a graceful appearance, while its reliable performance has earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
