Juniperus × media 'Mint Julep'
Juniperus × media 'Mint Julep' is a versatile evergreen conifer valued for its graceful arching branches and vibrant fresh green foliage. Forming a broad, spreading mound, it provides excellent year-round structure and colour while creating a soft, flowing effect in the landscape. The semi-prostrate habit makes it particularly effective as a ground cover plant, where its arching stems can cascade gently over banks, walls or pond edges. Its dense growth helps suppress weeds and provides an attractive evergreen presence throughout the seasons.
Easy to grow and highly adaptable, 'Mint Julep' performs well in a wide range of garden settings, from mixed borders and gravel gardens to larger landscape schemes. It can also be selectively pruned and shaped, making it suitable for topiary and architectural planting features.
