Juniperus 'Green Carpet' is an excellent low-growing juniper valued for its dense carpet of fresh light green foliage. This spreading evergreen conifer forms a broad, informal mat that hugs the ground, making it one of the best choices for year-round ground cover and erosion control. The finely textured foliage creates a soft, natural appearance that blends beautifully into rockeries, banks, gravel gardens and mixed borders. Its low-growing habit allows it to spill gently over edges and soften hard landscaping, while maintaining attractive colour throughout the year.
A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this reliable and hardy conifer is easy to grow and requires very little maintenance once established. Ideal for shrubbery edging, slopes and low-maintenance planting schemes, it provides excellent evergreen structure and texture in all seasons.
