Jasminum polyanthum
Jasminum polyanthum is a beautifully fragrant Jasmine, treasured for its abundant clusters of star-shaped white or pink flowers that open from deep pink buds. Blooming in late winter to early spring, it fills the home with a sweet, classic jasmine scent.
Ideal as a winter houseplant, this vigorous climber thrives in a cool, bright area such as a porch, conservatory, or unheated greenhouse. Its trailing or climbing habit makes it perfect for training around hoops, trellises, or frames, bringing elegance and fragrance to indoor spaces during the colder months.

Light: Prefers bright light with some direct sun, especially in winter. Avoid intense midday summer sun indoors
Water: Keep soil evenly moist during active growth and flowering. Reduce watering after blooming but never allow the root ball to dry out completely
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining multipurpose or peat-free potting mix. Feed every 2–3 weeks in spring and summer with a balanced fertiliser
Humidity: Average household humidity is fine. Good airflow helps maintain flower production
Pruning and propagation: Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage branching. Propagate from semi-ripe cuttings in summer
