Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky' is a spectacular panicle hydrangea renowned for its enormous two-toned flower heads that transform as the season progresses. Large white panicles emerge in mid to late summer, before the lower florets gradually turn rich pink while fresh white flowers continue to develop at the tips, creating a striking ombré effect.
The impressive flower panicles can reach up to 40cm (16 inches) in length, providing months of interest from summer into autumn. Held on strong, upright stems, the blooms make an eye-catching feature in borders, mixed planting schemes or large containers, and are also excellent for cutting and drying.
Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow, 'Pinky Winky' thrives in most garden soils and performs well in both full sun and partial shade. Its reliable flowering and dramatic colour change make it one of the most distinctive panicle hydrangeas available.
