Hoya ‘Mathilde Splash’ is a charming hybrid trailing houseplant with thick, rounded green leaves generously speckled with shimmering silver-white splash variegation. Its compact growth habit and attractive foliage make it a favourite among Hoya enthusiasts, while mature plants reward with clusters of fragrant, white star-shaped flowers with delicate pink centres.
Ideal for bright indoor spaces, it looks beautiful cascading from shelves or hanging planters, where its neat trailing stems can be fully appreciated. Its manageable size and easy-going nature make it equally suited to experienced collectors and those new to growing Hoyas.

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. A little gentle morning or evening sun will encourage flowering and maintain healthy growth
Water: Allow the compost to dry partially between waterings. Avoid overwatering as Hoyas prefer slightly drier conditions
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining, airy houseplant or orchid-style compost. Feed lightly once a month during spring and summer
Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable, although slightly higher humidity encourages stronger growth and flowering
Pruning and propagation: Avoid removing old flower spurs as they can bloom again. Propagate easily from stem cuttings
