Hosta 'Wide Brim'
Hosta 'Wide Brim' is a popular, clump-forming perennial with broad, heart-shaped leaves featuring rich green centres and wide creamy-yellow margins. Its bold variegated foliage brings brightness, texture and contrast to shaded planting schemes.
Forming a generous mound of lush foliage, this reliable variety provides attractive structure from spring through autumn. Tall stems rise above the leaves in summer, carrying soft lavender-purple flowers that add seasonal colour and attract pollinating insects.
Best grown in partial or full shade in moist but well-drained soil, 'Wide Brim' is ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, patio containers and underplanting beneath trees and shrubs. Easy to grow and dependable, it works equally well as a specimen plant or in repeated groups.
