Hosta 'Stained Glass'
Hosta 'Stained Glass' is a striking clump-forming perennial with large, heart-shaped leaves featuring glowing golden-yellow centres framed by deep green margins. Its luminous foliage brings brightness, contrast and bold texture to shaded planting schemes.
Tall stems rise above the foliage from July to August, carrying lightly fragrant lavender flowers. These elegant blooms attract bees and other pollinating insects while adding extra height and seasonal interest.
More tolerant of sun than many Hostas, 'Stained Glass' performs best in partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. It is ideal for borders, woodland-style gardens and large patio containers where its colourful foliage can be fully appreciated.
