Hosta 'Fragrant Blue'
Hosta 'Fragrant Blue' is a compact, clump-forming perennial prized for its powdery blue, heart-shaped foliage. The thick leaves have a distinctive matte finish and retain their attractive colouring well through the growing season.
From July to August, slender stems rise above the foliage carrying fragrant lavender-white flowers. These softly coloured blooms add gentle seasonal interest and make an attractive contrast against the cool blue leaves.
Ideal for shaded borders, woodland gardens and patio containers, 'Fragrant Blue' thrives in partial or full shade in moist but well-drained soil. Its substantial foliage is more resistant to slug damage than many thinner-leaved Hosta varieties.
