Hibiscus syriacus 'Woodbridge'
Hibiscus syriacus 'Woodbridge' is a striking deciduous shrub producing large, single deep pink flowers with prominent crimson-red centres. Flowering from late summer into autumn, it provides a valuable burst of colour when many other shrubs are beginning to fade.
The bold flowers are held against fresh green foliage and are rich in nectar, making them attractive to butterflies and other pollinating insects. Its long flowering season and strong colour make 'Woodbridge' a particularly useful choice for extending interest in mixed borders and wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
With its upright, bushy habit, 'Woodbridge' is ideal for sunny borders, cottage gardens and specimen planting. Easy to grow and fully hardy once established, it performs best in full sun and moist but well-drained soil.
