Hesperantha coccinea 'Professor Barnard' is a superb late-flowering perennial producing masses of elegant, star-shaped rosy-pink flowers from late summer well into autumn. The delicate blooms are carried on slender stems above clumps of narrow, upright green foliage, creating a graceful display when many other perennials are beginning to fade.
Perfect for borders, cottage gardens, wildlife planting and waterside locations, this reliable variety provides a valuable source of colour late in the season. The vibrant pink flowers sway gently in the breeze and combine beautifully with ornamental grasses and other autumn-flowering perennials.
