Hedera algeriensis 'Gloire de Marengo'
Hedera algeriensis 'Gloire de Marengo' is a vigorous evergreen climber valued for its bold, variegated foliage and reliable year-round cover. Large triangular leaves are deep green with broad creamy-white margins, creating a striking contrast that helps brighten walls, fences and shaded areas.
Its self-clinging growth makes it particularly useful for covering walls, structures and other vertical surfaces, while it can also be allowed to spread as dense evergreen ground cover. The colourful foliage provides structure and interest throughout the year.
Easy to grow and adaptable, 'Gloire de Marengo' performs well in a wide range of garden conditions. Once established it is drought tolerant and requires relatively little maintenance, making it a dependable choice for both practical screening and ornamental planting.
