Hebe 'Green Globe'
Hebe 'Green Globe' is a compact evergreen shrub forming a neat, rounded mound of fresh green foliage. Its upright shoots are densely covered with tiny, glossy, pointed leaves, creating a finely textured dome that brings lasting colour and definition to borders and containers.
Also known as 'Emerald Gem', this dwarf variety is grown primarily for its attractive foliage and naturally tidy shape. Small white flowers may appear sparsely during summer, adding subtle seasonal interest. Its restrained size makes it particularly useful for edging paths, filling gaps at the front of borders and adding structure to mixed patio displays.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, 'Green Globe' thrives in full sun or partial shade with moist but well-drained soil. Choose a sheltered position away from cold, drying winds, particularly in colder gardens. Ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens and low informal edging, it needs only occasional light trimming to maintain its rounded outline.
