Geranium × riversleaianum 'Jean Armour'
Geranium × riversleaianum 'Jean Armour' is a vigorous, low-growing hardy geranium forming a broad mat of neatly rounded, lobed grey-green foliage. Its trailing habit makes it an excellent choice for softening border edges and covering bare ground.
From summer into autumn, the foliage is covered with delicate pink flowers marked with darker pink veins. The long-lasting blooms bring gentle colour to planting schemes and provide nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinating insects.
Hardy, adaptable and easy to grow, 'Jean Armour' performs well in full sun or partial shade and tolerates most moderately fertile, well-drained soils. It is particularly effective at the front of borders, on banks and slopes, or beneath roses and shrubs, while cutting back spent stems encourages fresh foliage and further flowers.
