Geranium 'Lilac Ice'
Geranium 'Lilac Ice' is a beautiful hardy geranium producing large, pale lilac-pink saucer-shaped flowers held above attractively marbled foliage. Flowering over a long period, this elegant variety brings soft colour and texture to borders, cottage gardens and wildlife-friendly planting schemes.
Sharing the vigorous, spreading habit of the popular 'Rozanne' and other members of the wallichianum group, 'Lilac Ice' forms excellent ground cover, weaving naturally between neighbouring shrubs and perennials. Its low-growing nature helps suppress weeds while softening the edges of pathways and borders.
The open flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making this a valuable addition to wildlife gardens. Easy to grow and reliable year after year, it performs well in sun or partial shade and is particularly effective when used for underplanting roses and shrubs.
