Liriope muscari 'Royal Purple'
Liriope 'Royal Purple' is an attractive evergreen perennial with a clump-forming, grassy habit. Its wide, dark green, strap-like leaves create a neat, tufted effect, providing year-round structure and texture. From late summer through autumn, dense spikes of muscari-like purple flowers rise above the foliage, later followed by glossy black berries for added seasonal interest.
Thriving in shaded spots where many plants struggle, this reliable perennial is excellent as a groundcover, edging plant, or container feature. Hardy and low-maintenance, it is also tolerant of drought once established, making it a versatile choice for both borders and pots. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit for dependable performance.
