Geranium sanguineum var. striatum is a low-growing, spreading hardy geranium valued for its delicate pale pink flowers, each finely veined with deeper rose markings. Flowering generously from late spring into summer, it creates a soft, naturalistic display that suits a wide range of garden styles.
Forming a neat, ground-hugging mound of deeply cut green foliage, this reliable perennial is ideal for the front of borders, edging paths, rockeries and gravel gardens. The foliage often develops attractive red tones in autumn, extending seasonal interest. Exceptionally easy to grow, it thrives in full sun or light shade and copes well with dry conditions once established.
