Gasteria 'Aurora'
Gasteria 'Aurora' is a compact succulent with a dense rosette of thick green leaves patterned with raised white spots. The pointed foliage has finely toothed margins, creating a textured, sculptural plant that suits small indoor displays.
Sold as Gasteria 'Aurora', this cultivated hybrid is also known as ×Gasteraloe 'Aurora'. Its water-storing leaves and modest watering requirements make it a practical choice for beginners. Display it individually in a decorative pot or alongside other succulents in a bright position, protected from intense midday sunshine.

Gasteria Care
Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Gentle morning or evening sunshine is suitable once acclimatised, but protect from intense midday sun through glass.
Water: Allow the compost to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and let excess drain away. Avoid water collecting between the leaves and never leave the pot standing in water.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is suitable. Misting is unnecessary; provide good air circulation.
Temperature: Normal indoor temperatures suit this plant. Keep above 10°C and protect from frost and cold draughts.
Feeding: Apply a cactus and succulent fertiliser during active growth, following the manufacturer's recommended rate. Avoid feeding when growth slows in winter.
Repotting: Use free-draining cactus and succulent compost in a pot with drainage holes. Repot when the roots have filled the container, choosing a pot only slightly larger.
Winter care: Keep in a bright position and water much less frequently, allowing the compost to dry thoroughly between waterings.
