Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web'
Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web' is a stunning architectural evergreen shrub grown for its spectacular large, glossy leaves, beautifully marbled with silvery-white variegation. As the plant matures, the intricate speckled pattern becomes even more pronounced, creating year-round interest and bringing light to shaded areas of the garden.
In autumn, clusters of creamy-white flowers are produced above the dramatic foliage, followed by glossy black berries that extend the season of interest well into winter. The striking contrast between the bold leaves, delicate flowers and ornamental berries makes this an outstanding specimen plant for contemporary and woodland-style gardens.
Thriving in shade or sheltered positions, 'Spider's Web' is a tough and adaptable shrub that tolerates most soil types provided they are well drained.
