Erica × oldenburgensis 'Oldenburg'
Erica × oldenburgensis 'Oldenburg' is a compact evergreen shrub producing masses of bell-shaped white flowers from winter into late spring. The blooms stand out beautifully against the fine green foliage, bringing valuable colour to the garden during the colder months.
A hybrid between Erica carnea and Erica erigena, 'Oldenburg' forms a neat, bushy mound that provides useful year-round structure. Its long flowering season makes it particularly effective in borders, rock gardens and seasonal container displays.
Hardy, reliable and easy to grow, 'Oldenburg' performs best in a sunny position in moist but well-drained, acidic soil. It is an excellent choice for heather gardens and mixed planting schemes where dependable winter and spring interest is required.
