Erica × darleyensis 'Jenny Porter'
Erica × darleyensis 'Jenny Porter' is a vigorous evergreen heather producing attractive pale lilac flowers through winter and into early spring. The long flowering display brings valuable colour to the garden during the colder months, while the foliage provides year-round structure.
This variety has an upright, bushy habit and develops distinctive pale cream new growth in spring, extending its season of interest beyond flowering. Its dense growth makes it useful for groundcover, borders, rock gardens and larger planting groups.
Hardy, adaptable and easy to grow, this heather performs well in a wide range of well-drained soils and requires little maintenance. Trim back to the base of the flower spikes after flowering in May to encourage a denser, bushier plant.
