Erica arborea var. alpina f. aureifolia 'Albert's Gold'
Erica 'Albert's Gold' is a striking evergreen shrub with fine, needle-like foliage in bright golden-yellow tones. Its upright habit and luminous colouring provide excellent structure and contrast throughout the year.
In spring, clusters of small white, bell-shaped flowers appear amongst the golden foliage, adding a delicate seasonal display. The foliage colour is strongest in open, sunny positions, making 'Albert's Gold' especially effective for adding warmth to winter and evergreen planting schemes.
Ideal for borders, heather gardens and large containers, this hardy Tree Heath grows best in full sun in acidic, well-drained soil. Once established it is relatively low maintenance and provides reliable year-round colour and texture.
