Epimedium 'Double Cream'
Epimedium 'Double Cream' is an elegant evergreen perennial forming a compact clump of distinctive, Mahonia-like foliage. The new leaves emerge with attractive reddish tones before maturing to rich green, providing valuable texture and year-round interest.
In April and May, sprays of striking creamy-white double flowers rise above the foliage. Their delicate form and soft colouring brighten shaded areas and create a graceful spring display beneath trees and shrubs.
Fully hardy and easy to grow, 'Double Cream' thrives in partial or full shade and prefers humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. It is ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders and underplanting established trees and shrubs.
