Dionaea muscipula 'Flexx'
Dionaea muscipula ‘Flexx’ is a wonderfully quirky Venus flytrap with large, flexible traps and a vigorous growth habit. The hinged traps often develop rich red tones in bright light, creating a bold and unusual display while giving the plant real character.
Perfect for sunny windowsills or bright indoor spots, it makes an interactive and eye-catching feature plant. Like all Venus flytraps, it naturally captures its own food, snapping shut when tiny trigger hairs are touched, making it both fascinating and easy to maintain without feeding.

Dionaea Care Sheet
Light: Requires bright light with several hours of direct sun daily
Water: Keep compost consistently moist using rainwater or distilled water only. Never allow to dry out
Soil/Nutrition: Use nutrient-poor, free-draining carnivorous plant compost such as sphagnum moss. Do not use regular compost or fertiliser
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts to indoor conditions
Pruning and propagation: Remove flower stems to conserve energy. Will naturally die back in winter dormancy and regrow in spring
