Dicentra 'Jolly Hearts Spark'
Dicentra 'Jolly Hearts Spark' is a colourful herbaceous perennial combining vivid foliage with elegant heart-shaped flowers. Golden-yellow leaves marked with striking red veins provide a dramatic backdrop to rich red blooms carried on gracefully arching stems.
Flowering mainly from May to June, 'Jolly Hearts Spark' brings valuable colour to shaded borders and woodland-style planting. The foliage may naturally die back and become dormant during summer, particularly during hot or dry conditions, before returning the following spring.
Compact, hardy and easy to grow, this distinctive Bleeding Heart is ideal for shaded borders, cottage gardens, woodland planting and containers. It performs best in moist but well-drained soil in partial or full shade.
