Dianthus 'Stargazer'
Dianthus 'Stargazer' is a compact evergreen alpine pink forming a neat mound of narrow grey-green foliage. Its low, spreading shape provides year-round structure in sunny borders, gravel gardens and containers.
Fringed white flowers with dramatic deep maroon centres are produced from late spring into summer. The blooms have a sweet clove fragrance and are attractive to bees, butterflies and moths.
Grow in full sun and sharply drained neutral or alkaline soil. Deadhead regularly to encourage a longer flowering display and prevent the mound becoming untidy.
