Dianthus 'La Bourboule'
Dianthus 'La Bourboule' is a compact alpine pink forming neat cushions of aromatic grey-green foliage. Its tidy, low-growing habit provides attractive evergreen structure and makes it especially useful at the front of sunny planting schemes.
Fragrant pink flowers appear in late spring and continue into summer, adding both colour and scent above the silvery foliage. The blooms are also attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil, 'La Bourboule' is ideal for rock gardens, gravel planting, border edges and patio containers. Its compact habit and preference for dry, free-draining conditions make it a reliable choice for smaller spaces.
