Daphne x transatlantica 'Summer Ice' is a compact, semi-evergreen shrub prized for its long flowering season and elegant variegated foliage. Its dark green leaves are edged with a neat cream margin, creating year-round interest even when not in bloom. From spring through autumn, it produces clusters of highly fragrant, pale pink to white flowers that fill the garden with perfume. This variegated variety of Daphne has similar flowering, scent and habit of the well known 'Eternal Fragrance'.
Perfect for borders, containers, or as a focal point near paths and seating areas, this variety is valued for its reliability and extended display. Its neat, rounded form makes it easy to place in both formal and informal planting schemes, where its scent can be fully enjoyed.
