Cyclamen Indiaka® 'Violet'
Cyclamen Indiaka® 'Violet' produces distinctive bicoloured flowers combining vivid violet-purple with crisp white. The swept-back petals rise above a rounded mound of heart-shaped, dark green leaves with attractive silver marbling.
Providing colour through autumn and winter in suitable conditions, this seasonal cyclamen suits patio pots, window boxes and mixed container displays. Individual pots also brighten cool, light rooms indoors, where the contrasting flowers can be appreciated close at hand.
Choose a sheltered position in partial shade outdoors and protect from frost and prolonged heavy rain. Indoors, provide bright, indirect light away from radiators. Keep the compost lightly moist, allow excess water to drain and remove faded flowers and yellow leaves promptly.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch flowers or foliage.
Water: Water when the compost surface begins to dry, preferably from below, then drain fully. Avoid wetting the crown or leaving the pot standing in water. Reduce watering as foliage naturally dies back for summer dormancy; keep almost dry until new growth appears.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a free-draining, peat-free potting compost. Feed with a low-nitrogen flowering-plant fertiliser during active growth, following the product instructions. Stop feeding during dormancy.
Humidity: Prefers cool, moderately humid conditions. Keep away from radiators, hot dry air and cold draughts.
Pruning & Propagation: Remove faded flowers and yellow leaves by gently twisting and pulling the entire stalk away at its base. Propagation is from seed.
Experience level: Beginner-friendly with careful watering and a cool growing position.
