Ctenanthe burle-marxii
Ctenanthe burle-marxii is an eye-catching foliage houseplant with beautifully patterned leaves marked in alternating bands of dark and light green. The distinctive “fishbone” striping creates a striking visual effect, while the soft, slightly arching foliage gives the plant a relaxed tropical feel.
Perfect for bright indoor spaces with indirect light, it works beautifully on shelves, plant stands or grouped with other tropical foliage plants. Its compact size and decorative leaf pattern make it ideal for adding texture and movement to indoor plant displays.

Light: Does best in medium to bright indirect light. keep above 15°c and away from drafts
Water: Water when top half of soil is dry, and allow excess to run off
Soil/Nutrition: Well draining, tropical houseplant potting mix. Feed during the growing season every two weeks
Humidity: Enjoys a humid environment, so great plant for bathroom or kitchen. Otherwise, mist regularly
Pruning and propagation: Remove old, faded leaves and keep dust free with a damp cloth. Can be propagated via stem cuttings or division
