Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie'
Crocosmia 'Emily McKenzie' is a striking bulbous perennial producing arching sprays of bright orange flowers, each marked with a distinctive mahogany-red throat. The vivid blooms rise above tall, sword-shaped green foliage, bringing bold colour and architectural interest to summer planting schemes.
Flowering through summer, 'Emily McKenzie' creates an eye-catching display in beds and borders and is also excellent for cutting. Its brightly coloured flowers add warmth to seasonal arrangements, while the upright foliage provides structure even before the flowers appear.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, this reliable Crocosmia performs best in full sun and moist but well-drained soil. It is also suitable for coastal gardens, making it a versatile choice for mixed borders, cottage gardens and sunny planting schemes.
