Cortaderia selloana 'White Feather'
Cortaderia selloana 'White Feather' is a bold ornamental grass forming a large clump of arching green foliage. Its strong, architectural habit brings height, texture and movement to borders while creating an impressive focal point throughout the year.
Large, feathery white flower plumes rise well above the foliage from late summer into autumn. These elegant panicles remain attractive for many months and are particularly striking when illuminated by low autumn and winter sunlight.
Best grown in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil, 'White Feather' is ideal as a specimen plant or for adding structure to large borders and naturalistic planting schemes. Protect the crown from excessive winter wet and cut back old foliage in spring before fresh growth appears.
