Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea'
Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' is a vigorous deciduous shrub valued for its striking winter colour and year-round interest. In winter, its bright yellow-green stems light up the garden, especially when planted in groups or against darker backdrops. In early to mid-summer, clusters of small creamy-white flowers appear, attracting bees and butterflies, followed by white berries that often appeal to birds.
The foliage emerges green in spring, turning shades of orange and red in autumn before falling to reveal the vivid stems once again. Hardy, fast-growing, and tolerant of a wide range of soils, ‘Flaviramea’ is perfect for borders, mass planting, watersides, and as a winter focal point. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is reliable and highly recommended for year-round display.
