Flowering from July to September, 'Star of India' provides valuable late-summer colour over a long season. The flowers are held on vigorous climbing stems and may have a gently nodding appearance as they open.
This reliable Group 3 Clematis is ideal for training over pergolas, arches, trellises and fences. Grow it in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade, keeping the roots cool and shaded.
