Clematis tangutica 'Little Lemons'
Clematis tangutica 'Little Lemons' is a distinctive, compact perennial clematis with a naturally bushy, non-climbing habit. From May through to September, it produces an abundance of pale yellow, bell-shaped nodding flowers that create a cheerful display over a long season.
The flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies and are followed by decorative fluffy seed heads, extending the plant's interest beyond flowering. Its unusual compact growth makes 'Little Lemons' especially useful where a traditional climbing clematis would be unsuitable.
Low maintenance and easy to grow, 'Little Lemons' is ideal for borders, pots, containers and hanging baskets. As a Group 3 clematis, it can be cut back hard in late winter or early spring to encourage fresh new growth and plenty of flowers.
