Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Minta'
Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Minta' is a compact evergreen conifer with fine, soft mint-green foliage and a naturally rounded habit. Its fresh colouring provides attractive contrast and useful year-round structure in both traditional and contemporary planting schemes.
Slow growing at around 3-5cm per year, 'Minta' gradually develops into a dense, neat mound with little need for pruning. Its compact size makes it particularly well suited to rock gardens, the front of borders and patio containers.
Hardy and easy to grow, 'Minta' performs well in sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Its naturally rounded shape can generally be left untrimmed, with only occasional light pruning required to maintain a neat appearance.
