Ceanothus 'Skylark'
Ceanothus 'Skylark' is a compact evergreen shrub valued for its glossy green foliage and neat, bushy habit. Its dense growth provides attractive year-round structure and makes it a versatile addition to mixed planting schemes.
From early to midsummer, the plant becomes covered in dense clusters of rich deep blue flowers. The vivid blooms create a spectacular contrast against the evergreen foliage and are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
Ideal for sunny borders, specimen planting or training against a warm, sheltered wall, 'Skylark' performs best in fertile, well-drained soil. This RHS Award of Garden Merit variety is also suitable for cutting, bringing rich colour and texture to floral arrangements.
