Begonia ‘Ginny Galaxy Variegata' is a rare and highly sought-after Japanese hybrid, celebrated for its spectacular, star-speckled foliage. The leaves are richly patterned with splashes of red, green, and white to soft pink, creating a galaxy-like effect that makes every plant completely unique.
Rhizomatous and shrub-like in habit, this compact begonia is best suited to bright indoor spaces with good humidity, where its delicate colouring and fine detail can be appreciated up close. Ideal for plant cabinets, shelves, or warm rooms with stable conditions, it is a true collector’s plant with exceptional ornamental value.

Begonia Care Sheet
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch leaves and fade variegation.
Water: Keep compost lightly and evenly moist, allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings. Do not allow the plant to sit in water.
Soil/Nutrition: Use a well-draining houseplant compost. Feed every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer.
Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity, ideally 50–70% or more. Best grown in a plant cabinet or humid room.
Pruning and propagation: Remove older or damaged leaves to maintain shape. Can be propagated from rhizome or stem cuttings.
Experience level: Moderate to advanced.
